The UBK UWB + GPS Hybrid Positioning Badge is a next-generation industrial personnel tracking device designed to deliver reliable, continuous, and high-precision positioning across both indoor and outdoor environments. By combining UWB centimeter-level ranging with GPS outdoor positioning, the UBK badge creates a seamless hybrid RTLS solution suitable for factories, energy plants, chemical sites, smart manufacturing, construction zones, large warehouses, and transportation facilities.

Built around a rugged, industrial-grade architecture, the UBK badge delivers consistent real-time visibility of workers, contractors, and field personnel, significantly enhancing operational transparency, workflow automation, and safety management.

Hybrid Indoor + Outdoor Positioning

The UBK badge integrates two complementary positioning technologies:

1. UWB Indoor Positioning (<30 cm)

  • Provides high-precision centimeter-level accuracy for workshops, tunnels, indoor bays, automated lines, and complex indoor structures.

  • Ideal for safety monitoring, real-time tracking, collision avoidance, and restricted-area management.

2. GPS Outdoor Positioning

  • Ensures stable positioning in open areas such as outdoor yards, logistics platforms, construction zones, and factory perimeters.

  • Supports 2–3 m accuracy in open-sky environments.

  • Enables continuous tracking when workers move between indoor and outdoor zones.

  • Automatic wake-up and power-saving sleep mode, enabling long-duration operations without manual intervention

  • Low-battery warning to ensure uninterrupted monitoring during work shifts
